THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING

PART ONE: THE HOBBITS
PART TWO: ROAD TO MORDOR

(NOTE: Click on the images for the larger version, generally 960 X 408 in size)

The Council of Elrond feels that these hobbits will need some extra help for their task.

Aragorn will be their sword,

Lagolas the elf their bow,

Gimli the dwarf their axe,

Gandalf the Grey, of course, ... their rod and weed pipe,

And Boromir...heck, for the challenge of it, since it's so obvious that Boromir wants the Ring for himself. It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing.

So the Fellowship of the Ring is formed with the mission to take the Ring to Mount Doom, Sauron's home. Makes you wonder why Sauron bother to hinder them.

To Mordor!

through the Mines of Moria. I can't imagine what this vast area is used for, though.

Samwise Gamgee farts, thereby giving away their position to the beastly orcs. (Not really but close enough)

For all his protestations against elves, I find it suspicious that Gimli is always right behind Lagolas' ass. Check the above image if you don't believe me. Could Gimli be...never mind.

On the Bridge of Khazad-Dum, Gandalf the Grey faces the Balrog barking, You cannot pass!. Uh, it doesn't work.

Outside the Mines of Moria, the Company grieves Gandalf's death.

Frodo wants to go home.

Another elvish settlement built around a different theme.

Is it just me, or do all the elvish womenfolk radiate like crazy when first seen?

I don't quite get it, but it's cool.

Galadriel bids farewell to the Company. The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true.

The world's most expensive waterfall warning system.

Adding one more picture of it, just so it is put to some use however small.

Wow, I'd have never figured it could use an arrow.

Being pierced by arrows is nothing to be botherd by to Boromir.

The Company dumps Boromir's body down the waterfall.

With the Fellowship broken, Frodo and Sam arrive at Mordor.

Are you ready for The Two Towers?
